"I am leaving State Farm for progressive.. I had to deal with my bosses insurance agency (progressive) when he hit my car, and not only were they way faster, but they stayed in contact with me and made the process as simple as possible (literally all remote). They even sent me a check within 2 weeks! I had 2 different claims from State Farm and even tho I contacted them months later stating, the work hadn’t been done yet, and the repair shops haven’t even contacted me, they told me, they’re busy and I will be contacted. Almost 2 years later, they are now refusing to help me, and they absolutely do not mail out checks! I’ve been a loyal customer for 15 years, and last time I complained about the cost of my insurance and why it seemed so high, just being me, 1 vehicle, being a great driver with no tickets or accidents being my fault, they just changed my policy to be even more expensive, but gaslit me into thinking it was better.. I feel scammed, but I know there is nothing I can do. Word of advice, leave State Farm, I can’t say progressive is the best or the only good option, but it’s way better than this, and my bosses cost of insurance was way cheaper, with 2 vehicles and him and his wife both on there."
